The Cutera® LimeLight Facial is a non-invasive approach to the improvement of skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photo damage. Ideal for any part of your face, neck and décolleté with redness, telangiectasia (tiny veins) or brown spots, the LimeLight Facial can be customized to your skin type.

Over the years, sun damage, conditions like Rosacea and a host of other factors can indeed create a dull, uneven complexion. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is the only procedure available that can diminish both red and brown discoloration, by using specific ranges of light that target broken vessels and pigmentation. The treatments also spur new collagen and elastin, and after a series the skin glows with renewed vitality.

Patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation as the pulse of light is delivered. Anesthesia or pain medication is typically not required. Immediately following treatment, your skin may appear slightly red and mildly swollen. This typically lasts a few hours to a few days at most. Make-up can be applied to cover redness.

A series of 4 treatments are recommended every 35-45 days. For a 2D effect, this procedure may also be combined with the Laser Genesis for maximum results.
